Hello, I’m Richard Kwiecienski from Homosassa, FL , Inventor & sole owner of my Golf-D’Lite® line of 4 lightweight golf club carriers. My inspiration for inventing resulted from my loving bride, Lorraine, of 52 years, who suffered a stroke. Part of her rehabilitation, was to walk and exercise. She loves to walk & play golf; however, the traditional club carriers ALL presented obstacles to her rehabilitation. Even my original UltraLite® design, with stand-up spike was difficult for her to use, as it wouldn’t stand upright in soft or sandy soil, and it wouldn’t work in hard pan or rocky soil conditions. Also, when walking behind her, my concern was the possibility of being impaled by the spike at the bottom of the carrier, a liability to be avoided. My patented KwikStand design, which stands upright on all soil & terrain conditions, solved the problems.
My UltraLite® design resulted in being a stroke saver in life and golf!

American Inventor Post Audition Summary
6 U.S. cities held auditions for the 2007, 2nd season of “American Inventor”. The city of Tampa hosted the Southeast region competition on April 21-25, 2007, with 550 inventors competing. This 73 year old gentleman entered the 1st round of competition with his Golf-D’Lite® line of 4 lightweight golf club carriers, and advanced to the 2nd round of 200, and to the 3rd round of 50 to compete in auditioning for entering the 4th round of 10.
We received 2 of the 3 judges' votes needed to advance to the coveted 4th round of 10, but my 2 minutes of “fame” was that I survived a 3rd round knockout by judge and heavyweight pro-boxing champ, George Foreman, who was most positive, gave me his + vote, and said it was really neat. To put our audition effort in proper perspective, the American Inventor judges "scorecard" placed Golf-D'Lite in the final 20 out of the original 550 inventors competing. That’s in the top 4% of all competing inventions!
